Schools

Spatial planning shapes our future! Spatial planning designs the living space of future generations. For this reason, the exhibition “Spatial Planning: Here’s Why” aims to provide school pupils in particular with insight into spatial planning. Until now, spatial planning has rarely featured in the classroom. We would like this to change. Our aims are as follows:

  • To present spatial planning as a public remit with objectives and influences
  • To convey the basic functional mechanisms of spatial development
  • To sensitise the public to the spatial relevance of one’s own actions
  • To highlight the possibility of participation and contribution
  • To introduce and better present the job description of a spatial planner

We offer school groups guided tours of the exhibition container. Please register via email: info@darum-raumplanung.dont-want-spam.ch

We also provide accompanying teaching material to be used in preparation for and as follow up to your exhibition visit. The teaching material can also be used independently in the classroom, irrespective of whether or not you attend the exhibition.
